According to the UK government, you must be tested for tuberculosis (TB) if you are coming to the UK for more than 6 months and are a resident of Nigeria or the Republic of Bénin.
There are no approved clinics in the Republic of Bénin, so if you’re from there, you’ll need to travel to Nigeria to be tested. St. Nicholas Hospital is one of the approved screening centers in Lagos, Nigeria.

We are a 50 bed health facility that was established in 1968. Over the years, St. Nicholas Hospital has expanded to become a first class health care provider offering a wide range of services and the preferred referral medical facility for both local and international organizations.
Our reputation as one of the leading healthcare providers was confirmed with our kidney transplant unit which has successfully conducted over 80% of all Kidney transplants in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Our highly skilled medical staff strength comprises full time consultants, several visiting consultants in different specialties, Registrars, Medical Officers, House Officers and over 100 double qualified nurses. Our healthcare professionals maintain a strong focus on quality care and constantly ensure their commitment to patient’s safety.
